Job summary

Immensa is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own end-to-end projects for cast and forged components. You will translate design intent into manufacturable production plans, bridging between Immensa and the casting/forging supply base to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include selecting manufacturing routes, reviewing process plans, leading design reviews, and supporting inspection data and tendering with realistic costs and lead times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 5–6 years' experience in castings and forgings.
• Deep expertise in foundry/forging processes, metallurgy, heat treatment and NDT.
• Strong GD&T reading ability for 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Familiar with API/ASTM standards; demonstrated project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 3D CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T, datums and tolerances for cast/forged parts.
• Choose and justify manufacturing routes and materials for service conditions.
• Manage project schedules and OTIF targets; drive supplier execution.
• Review foundry/forge process plans, rigging/gating, and heat-treatment routes.
• Lead design and process reviews; identify risks across technical, cost and delivery.
• Review inspection data and disposition non-conformances; support QA.
• Support estimation and tendering with realistic costing and lead times.
• Coordinate reverse-engineering and spare-parts projects for manufacturability.
