About the Role
We are looking for a trustworthy and customer-focused Cashier to manage transactions efficiently and accurately in our retail or hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude while providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
- Ensure proper scanning and pricing of products or services.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Report any discrepancies, errors or suspicious activities to management.
- Support store operations (restocking or other assigned duties) when needed.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or customer service role (UAE experience preferred).
- Skills:
- Good numeracy and basic accounting skills.
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, reliable, and well-presented.
- Language: Fluency in English is required (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
- Availability: Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
