Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a Finance/Cashier professional to manage cash collection, petty cash, and daily reconciliations. The role supports aftersales credit follow-up and insurance policy sales, ensuring strict controls and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle petty cash with proper procedures and documentation.
• Process payments from customers with proper documentation.
• Deposit cash collections and dated cheques to bank the next working day.
• Prepare daily collections reports and sales summaries; tally cash sales with documents.
• Safekeep vehicle clearance certificates and issue to Sales on invoice/payment receipt.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations.
• Sell insurance policies as applicable and follow up on credit for aftersales.
• Prepare other MIS reports as required by Management.

Job Purpose

Responsible for collection of cash from customers, timely remittances of cash received, disbursements of cash against petty cash vouchers, accurate recording of cash receipts, remittances and disbursements, sale of insurance policies and credit follow up of after sales department.

Job Responsibilities

• Handles petty cash ensuring proper procedure and documentation prior to disbursements. Maintains daily record of disbursements, reimbursement statements and submits to Accountant for liquidation
• Handles payments from customers ensuring proper procedure and documentation.
• Ensures that cash collections and dated cheques are deposited to the bank immediately the following working day. Safe keeps post-dated cheques (PDCs) and ensures these are deposited to the bank on the due date.
• Prepares daily report on collections, sales summary for spare parts and tally cash sales collections on the same day and forwards to Accountant together with the supporting documents at the latest the next working day.
• Safe keeps the vehicle clearance certificates (VCC) and issues the same to Sales department upon receipt of invoice or payments as the case may be.
• Cash Reconciliations on daily basis
• Sale of Insurance Policies
• Follow up for credit related to after sales department

Other MIS reports as required by Management
