Job summary

JobCenter in El-Ain, UAE is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

This is a full-time position with a monthly salary of 1,600 AED and standard benefits. Candidates must be able to read plans and work with power tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Ability to read technical plans and drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of wood properties and other materials used in carpentry.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina for manual labor tasks.
• Proficient in using power tools such as saws, sanders, drills, etc.

• Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine the type of material required, the measurements needed, or the methods of assembly
• Cut or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencils or marking gauge
• Join materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
• Install fixtures such as windows and doors
• Erect scaffolding to provide support during construction activities
• Construct cabinets or other items by assembling cut material

Requirements
