Job summary

Whizz HR is seeking a Senior Carpenter – Joinery for interior fit-out projects in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of hands-on joinery experience and can supervise carpentry works on site and in workshops.

You will read shop drawings, measure, cut, assemble and install furniture, doors and cabinetry while ensuring quality finishes and adherence to timelines. UAE/Dubai experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of joinery/carpentry experience.
• Strong hands-on joinery and interior fit-out experience.
• Proven ability to supervise a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute carpentry and joinery works at site/workshop.
• Handle and guide a team of carpenters and helpers.
• Read and execute shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Perform accurate measurement, cutting, assembly, and installation.
• Work on doors, wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, wall panels, custom furniture and other joinery items.
• Ensure quality finishing and accuracy of all carpentry works.
• Coordinate with project/site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Ensure projects are completed within timelines.
• Maintain proper safety and housekeeping standards.
• Identify and resolve site/workshop‑related carpentry issues.
• Train and guide junior carpenters when required.
