Job summary

GreenLedger in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Carbon Compliance Analyst to help clients navigate UAE Climate Law and global carbon reporting. You will work with product and engineering to ensure the platform reflects regulatory requirements and support customers in filings and emissions inventories.

You will guide clients on GHG Protocol, review emissions calculations, update rules, train users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape compliance features, audits, and GCC trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Strong working knowledge of the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting
• Familiarity with UAE environmental regulations including the UAE Climate Change Law and Net Zero 2050 Strategy
• Experience with emissions inventory preparation and third-party verification processes
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Python, or similar tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to enterprise clients on GHG Protocol, ISSB, and UAE Climate Law compliance requirements
• Review and validate emissions calculations generated by the platform for accuracy and regulatory alignment
• Monitor changes in UAE and international environmental regulations and update platform compliance rules accordingly
• Develop and maintain emissions factor databases and calculation methodologies within the platform
• Create compliance report templates aligned with regulatory submission requirements
• Conduct training sessions for clients on carbon accounting best practices and platform usage
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define compliance feature requirements
• Support enterprise clients during regulatory audits and third-party verification processes
• Prepare research reports on emerging carbon compliance trends in the GCC region
