Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking an Engineer, Carbon Management to support the execution of decarbonization activities across ADNOC Gas. The role involves maintaining emissions data, preparing analyses, and supporting reporting deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers and the manager.

The incumbent will collaborate with HSE, Operations and asset teams to collect data, perform calculations and develop technical notes, dashboards and progress updates for ongoing carbon

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Carbon Management, Energy Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in GHG emissions management, carbon management, sustainability, energy or process engineering.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data tools; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support updates to the decarbonization roadmap by compiling emissions data, abatement assumptions and project inputs.
• Maintain emissions data, abatement initiatives and forecasts for reporting.
• Assist in GHG assessments for brownfield, greenfield and growth projects.
• Evaluate low-carbon options for power, fuel, steam, electrification and process optimization.
• Prepare calculations, charts and dashboards for carbon management analyses.
• Coordinate with project teams, HSE, Finance and Engineering to collect data.
