Job Title: Car Auto Electrician – Interior Modification Specialist
Responsible for diagnosing, installing, modifying, and maintaining vehicle electrical and electronic systems — particularly during car interior modifications such as infotainment system upgrades, LED lighting, speaker installations, and rewiring after dashboard or interior refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Modification Work
- Install and configure Android infotainment systems, car stereos, GPS navigation units, reverse cameras, and parking sensors.
- Integrate and connect LED lighting systems, ambient lighting, under‑seat or roof LEDs, and custom interior lighting setups.
- Rewire, reconnect, or extend wiring harnesses after interior refurbishment or dashboard replacement.
- Install and calibrate amplifiers, subwoofers, and custom sound systems.
- Modify or repair electrical systems when new accessories are added or existing layouts are changed.
- Diagnostic & Repair
- Diagnose electrical faults in lighting, power windows, central locking, air conditioning, and sensor systems.
- Use multimeters, diagnostic scanners, and other electrical tools to test circuits and identify short circuits, blown fuses, or ground faults.
- Ensure all installations are safe, neat, and meet manufacturer and safety standards.
- Maintenance & Upgrades
- Maintain wiring diagrams and update electrical layout drawings after modifications.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as relays, fuses, switches, and connectors.
- Ensure proper connection of all car interior systems—including airbags, seat sensors, or dashboard displays—after modification.
- Perform lighting upgrades: headlights, fog lamps, DRLs, and tail light rewiring or retrofit.
- Quality & Safety
- Conduct post‑installation testing to ensure all systems function correctly.
- Follow proper safety procedures while working on vehicle electrical systems.
- Keep workspace clean, organized, and ensure all tools are well maintained.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of 12V/24V electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to install, solder, and troubleshoot wiring safely.
- Familiarity with Android systems, amplifiers, sensors, and multimedia electronics.
- Detail‑oriented, with neat finishing and proper cable management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (dashboard, trim, and interior dismantling).
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Car Electrician, preferably in interior modification or accessory installation workshops.
- Experience with luxury or customized vehicles is an advantage.
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
Work Conditions
- Workshop‑based role (may require off‑site work).
- Working under tight schedules to complete modification projects.
- Handling multiple car models and brands (Japanese, European, and American).
