Kerzner International Management seeks a Captain for the Royal Tea Room Lounge at Atlantis The Royal in Abu Dhabi. You will support the Assistant Outlet Manager in planning, organizing and directing outlet operations, ensuring top-tier F&B service in line with SOPs and budget targets.

Responsibilities include team briefings, staff training, maintaining service standards, coordinating with kitchen, and driving upsell opportunities to boost revenue.

Formación

• Previous experience as a restaurant head waiter or equivalent level.
• Experience in A La Carte and high-volume venues (200+ covers).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; flexible with hours.
• Proficient with POS, restaurant reservation systems, and MS Office.

About The Role

Captains in Royal Team Room Lounge focus on assisting the Assistant Outlet Managers in planning, organizing and directing all processes of the outlet. You will ensure that the outlet provides quality Food and Beverage service that is consistent with the Standard Operating Procedures and achieves maximum revenue in line with the outlet's budget. Captains look after the Head Waiters, Waiters and Attendants and ensure consistency of service standards in the iconic ultra luxury lobby lounge in Atlantis The Royal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support and assistance to colleagues to ensure highest levels of service and courtesy and provided to guests by assigning duties, workstations, and responsibilities to Waiters and Attendants
• Conduct team briefing, meetings and training as directed by Management.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications.
• Assists management to maintain departmental SOP and ensures that all colleagues have a working knowledge and follow SOP’s at all times.
• Inspect dining tables and work areas for cleanliness and tidiness.
• Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP’s.
• Monitor duty schedules for the respective team.
• Ensure that an effective link is maintained between kitchen and service areas.
• Pay special emphasis on guests’ allergies and diet restrictions as well as inform Servers of timing for serving and clearing of each meal course.
• Actively promote the use of up selling techniques within the outlet to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
• Supervise all aspects of food and beverage quality and hygiene and take immediate corrective action to the Management.
• In the absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager or Manager takes responsibility of operational issues.

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following skills and qualities:

• Previous experience in a similar job role (restaurant Head Waiter or above)
• Worked in in similar position for at least 2 years on the same venue/brand, needs to have experience in A La Carte restaurants and/or high-volume restaurants over 200 guests per venue
• International experience preferred
• Outgoing, confident, good communication skills with the right attitude, a great team player with sincere and dependable personality
• Leads by example and team player.
• Dynamic, energetic, creative individual with a positive “can do” attitude.
• Self‑motivated, high achiever who is passionate about F&B.
• Multi‑tasking capability without compromising on quality.
• Punctual and able to work flexible working hours.
