We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly motivated Calibration Technician to join our team in Dubai. This role will primarily focus on the calibration of OTT HydroMet Pyranometers in our Dubai‑based calibration laboratory. The ideal candidate will also assist with logistics and administrative tasks related to the calibration process to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate calibrations of OTT HydroMet Pyranometers and similar solar radiation sensors.
  • Operate and maintain calibration equipment in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Manage logistics associated with receiving, tracking, and returning calibrated equipment.
  • Handle administrative duties, including preparing calibration reports, documentation, and assisting in generating invoices.
  • Ensure calibrations are completed and delivered within the specified timeframes (On‑Time Delivery).
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in all calibration tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to address queries and provide support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of calibration procedures and documentation.
  • Support quality audits and compliance with relevant standards and protocols.

  • On‑Time Delivery of calibration services
  • Calibration Accuracy and reliability of results
  • Customer Satisfaction scores and feedback
  • Timely invoicing and administrative efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred)
  • Experience in the solar energy industry, particularly with Kipp & Zonen or similar pyranometer devices (advantageous)
  • Proven track record of working in a calibration or technical service environment
  • Strong understanding of calibration standards and best practices
