Job summary

Al Saqr Engineering is seeking an experienced Calibration Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily calibration operations and advance ISO/IEC 17025-accredited services. You will lead calibration engineers and technicians, ensure quality, review data and certificates, and maintain integrity.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, audit readiness, and expansion of calibration capabilities across disciplines within a controlled lab environment in the UAE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on calibration experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisor or lead technician role.
• UAE experience in an accredited calibration lab, TIC environment, or industrial setting preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and EIAC audit processes.
• Strong English technical communication and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily calibration laboratory operations, workflow, and job allocation.
• Monitor workload, TAT and completion rates to meet service SLAs.
• Provide mentorship, guidance and training to calibration engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate on-site calibration assignments and field service logistics as needed.
• Review calibration worksheets, data, and certificates; ensure traceability and CAPA where needed.
• Support audits, customer technical reviews and scope expansion projects.
