Apex Aerospace FZE Dubai Branch seeks a multi-purpose Calibration Engineer with experience across Oil & Gas, Medical and Hospitality industries to manage the full calibration pipeline. You will meet customer requirements, calibrate items, generate certificates and invoices, and ensure ISO17025 practices.

The role requires performing on-site calibrations across electrical, torque, mass, force, pressure, dimensional, temperature, centrifuge, vibration, pipettes, and more, with strong data-entry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Master's degree in Instrumentation or Engineering (beneficial).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsabilités

• Perform calibrations across Electrical, Torque, Mass, Force, Pressure, Dimensional, Temperature, Centrifuge, Vibration, Pipettes and more.
• Ensure ISO17025 standard practices and manuals are followed.
• Be proficient in data entry and Excel formulas for certificate documentation.
• Possess domain knowledge in Oil & Gas, Medical and Hospitality industries.
• Perform on-site calibrations at customer sites (driving license a strong plus).
• Diagnose faults and perform minor repairs in addition to calibration.
• Have experience in the calibration industry.

Overview

Apex Aerospace is rapidly expanding due to its growth in both customer base and calibration capabilities.

As such, we are looking for a multi-purpose Calibration Engineer who has domain-specific knowledge relevant to our industrial customer base i.e. Oil and Gas/Medical/Hospitality.

[VERY IMPORTANT] The candidate must be able to complete the whole calibration pipeline i.e. to meet a customer, establish their calibration requirements, obtain an order for the same, calibrate the items, and generate the certificate and invoice for the same

Responsibilities

The candidate must:

• perform calibrations in the following scopes: Electrical, Torque, Mass, Force, Pressure, Dimensional, Temperature, Centrifuge, Vibration, Pipettes, etc.
• be familiar with the ISO17025 standard practices and all associated manuals in the aforementioned scopes
• be strongly proficient in data entry and MS Excel formulas to be used when filling out certificates
• have domain and customer-specific knowledge in key industries such as Oil & Gas, Medical and Hospitality
• be able to perform on-site calibrations (driving license is a strong plus)
• be able to analyze an item, diagnose the fault and perform minor repairs on the same - in addition to calibration
• have worked in the calibration industry

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• a fully completed Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Engineering, or a similar field - preferably specializing in Electrical
• a fully completed Master's degree in Instrumentation, Engineering or a similar field - preferably specializing in Electrical (not required but highly beneficial)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
