CADCAM Assistant at Cosmetic Elite Dental Lab in Abu Dhabi, AZ, AE. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Dental CAD/CAM Assistant to join our state-of-the-art dental laboratory. In this role, you will support our senior dental technicians by digitalising models, designing dental restorations using industry-leading CAD software, and managing CAM production equipment (milling machines and 3D printers). You will play a crucial role in converting digital impressions into highly accurate, functional dental prosthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Scanning: Operate desktop lab scanners to convert physical stone models and impressions into precise 3D digital files, as well as import and organise intraoral scans.
• CAD Restoration Design: Assist in designing simple to complex restorations, including monolithic crowns, bridges, coping, temporary restorations, and veneers under supervision.
• CAM Production Management: Prepare design files for manufacturing (nesting), set up raw materials (zirconia, PMMA, wax, e.max), and operate CNC dental milling machines and 3D printers.
• Post-Processing & Finishing: Safely remove restorations from milling discs or printer beds, perform basic sprue removal, and manage the sintering and curing oven cycles.
• Quality & File Organization: Inspect digital designs and milled units for dimensional accuracy, margin integrity, and quality check against doctor prescriptions before passing to the ceramics department.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Degree or diploma in Dental Technology, Certification in Dental CAD/CAM technology, or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience or familiarity with dental CAD software such as exocad, 3Shape, or Dental Wings.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, margin design, and properties of dental materials (Zirconia, Lithium Disilicate, Resins).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional visual precision to spot microscopic defects in margins, contours, and occlusion lines.
• Teamwork: Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with lab technicians and handle feedback on design adjustments.
