Air Arabia PJSC (G9) – Sharjah, AE. Recruitment drive in Belgrade, Serbia. This is an opportunity to join as a cabin crew with our dynamic team. Full event details, including venue and schedule, will be shared 2–3 days prior to the event.
Job Purpose: Acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador; strives to achieve customers’ loyalty and promote a positive corporate image at all times, through enhancing the overall customers’ experience. Provides excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. Be ready and fit to operate ensuring productivity is in line with set measures and company’s adopted policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Pre-flight: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality of self for the assigned flights. Attends briefing to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding, etc.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures; identifies safety and security risks and partners with Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action per SOPs. Administers first aid to passengers where necessary. Informs Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew and Captain of irregularities and malfunctions promptly.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists in boarding formalities; records necessary data in the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Delivers excellent customer service, addressing pre-bookings, requests and needs. Assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties per Operations Manual and related instructions. Promotes on-board meals, products and charity services to help achieve individual and team targets. Handles cash and credit card payments securely for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Carries out pre-flight checks for supplies and equipment; provides deficiency reports to Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Ensures cabin cleanliness at transit stations and adequacy of re-catering and duty-free products. Manages handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning and maintenance staff. Conducts post-flight briefing and assessment reports; evaluates the Cabin Supervisor; reports problems or discrepancies. Acts as Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional safety knowledge through recurrent trainings and ensures current license. Contributes to team effort and sales targets.
Requirements
- Age: 18–29 for non-experienced crew; up to 33 for experienced crew
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male); Weight proportionate to age/height
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible in cabin crew uniform
- Medically/ physically fit for cabin crew duties; ability to swim with flotation aid
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; Travel/Tourism diploma is a plus
- Training in First Aid, Safety and Emergency Procedures is an added value
- Fit to fly; good general health; no serious medical conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in airlines/aviation or hospitality is advantageous
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage
- Capable of working in shift patterns and extended hours; flexible and adaptable to changes
- Ability to contribute and meet policies, procedures, and KPIs
