NJF Global Holdings Ltd in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work closely with traders, researchers and developers on ultra-low-latency trading systems.

From design to deployment, you will build high-performance Linux-based components, optimize core frameworks and help scale infrastructure to meet demanding throughput goals.

Qualificações

• Advanced C/C++ systems development experience on Linux.
• Strong background in performance tuning and low-latency optimization.
• Experience building latency-sensitive systems with low-level network knowledge.
• Understanding of hardware architecture and network protocols.

I'm working with a highly regarded quantitative trading firm seeking to add an experienced C++ Software Engineer to its growing engineering team in the UAE.

You’ll be surrounded by talented engineers and working closely with traders, researchers and fellow developers, playing a key role in developing some of the firm’s most technically demanding systems.

The Role

You’ll be involved throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial design and development through to deployment, with a particular focus on building ultra-low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.

Key responsibilities will include

• Designing and developing high-performance C++ systems within a Linux environment.
• Building and enhancing the core frameworks that support trading applications.
• Working closely with traders, researchers and other engineers to deliver new technology and infrastructure.
• Benchmarking, profiling and optimising critical software services to maximise performance.
• Developing latency-sensitive systems, with a particular focus on low-level systems and network performance.
• Taking ownership of projects from conception through to production deployment.
• Continuously identifying opportunities to improve scalability, flexibility and overall system performance.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ systems development within Linux.
• A strong background in performance tuning and low-latency software optimisation.
• A proven track record of developing high-performance software.
• Experience building latency-sensitive systems, with a solid understanding of low-level systems and network development.
• Strong knowledge of hardware architecture and the impact of hardware on latency.
• A good understanding of network protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and the Linux kernel.
• An interest in or experience with x86 assembly. Hands-on assembly coding experience would be advantageous.
