Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Buying team across Womenswear, Handbags and Shoes.
• Prepare presentations and commercial data for weekly trade meetings.
• Participate in trade meetings reviewing weekly sales, brand and category performance, and in-season actions.
• Maintain Buying trackers and Excel sheets, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Work with sales and product data to develop your commercial understanding of different brands and categories.
• Support seasonal Buying cycles, including Spring/Summer collections.
• Participate in weekly market visits to build understanding of products and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Buying Trainee with Tryano, you'll step into the commercial world behind some of fashion's most exciting luxury and contemporary brands.

Working across Womenswear, Handbags and Shoes, you'll gain hands‑on exposure to an international and regional brand portfolio spanning ready‑to‑wear, accessories and footwear, including names such as Zimmermann, Chloé, Fendi, Self‑Portrait, Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and Alaïa. This opportunity is designed for someone who wants to understand both the creative and commercial sides of fashion and build a long‑term career in Buying.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support the Buying team across Womenswear, Handbags and Shoes.

• Prepare presentations and commercial data for weekly trade meetings.

• Participate in trade meetings reviewing weekly sales, brand and category performance, and in‑season actions.

• Maintain Buying trackers and Excel sheets, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

• Work with sales and product data to develop your commercial understanding of different brands and categories.

• Support seasonal Buying cycles, including Spring/Summer collections.

• Participate in weekly market visits to build your understanding of products, customers and the retail environment.

• Gain exposure to brand‑facing activities and learn how Buying teams work with luxury and contemporary fashion brands.

• Develop an understanding of the wider Buying process and how commercial decisions translate into the products our customers discover in-store.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited about fashion, products and the commercial thinking behind what makes it into the Tryano store.

You will ideally bring:

• UAE National with a Family Book.

• A background in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or another relevant field.

• A genuine interest in luxury fashion, womenswear, handbags and footwear.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

• Confidence working with data, trackers and administrative tasks.

• Strong attention to detail and organization.

• A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative.

• Comfort working in a brand and client‑facing environment.

This traineeship is particularly suited to someone who sees Buying as more than a first role and wants to build expertise within the function. As you develop your career, Buying can offer exposure to international markets and buying trips to fashion capitals such as Milan and Paris.
