Job Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll help us identify and engage founders of promising software companies. You'll maintain accurate CRM data, write thoughtful and personalized outreach messages, and manage the tools that power our sourcing efforts. Your work ensures that our investment pipeline remains organized, responsive, and continually growing.

Responsibilities
  • Write founder-specific emails that reflect real research, clear thinking, and genuine interest.
  • Manage and execute sequences on Outreach.io, ensuring proper segmentation and scheduling.
  • Track founder responses and coordinate quick next steps for positive engagements.
CRM & Reporting Management
  • Own the accuracy and structure of HubSpot as the central CRM system.
  • Produce weekly sourcing reports covering outreach volume, response rates, and deal log.
  • Keep contact and company records clean, structured, and ready for reporting.
  • Use tools like ZoomInfo to ensure complete and accurate data.
Scheduling & Deal Support
  • Coordinate founder calls and NDA execution for qualified leads.
  • Ensure meetings are confirmed, documented, and properly logged in HubSpot.
Qualifications
  • Experienced & adaptable: you bring 3-5 years of experience in business development (ideally within private equity, venture capital, or B2B software environments).
  • Hyper-organized: you structure your work intuitively and keep systems spotless.
  • Excellent written English: you can craft personalized, founder-ready outreach messages.
  • Consistent & reliable: you perform recurring tasks reliably and at a high standard.
  • Detail-driven: you double-check names, times, and data before anything goes live.
