Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with strong industry knowledge and market connections to spearhead Interwood’s market entry in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategies to enter and expand Interwood’s presence in the UAE’s mid‑premium furniture and KDW fit‑out segments.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and project managers to secure B2B fit‑out projects.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify and qualify leads, present tailored solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with Pakistan HQ for design, production, and logistics coordination, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the face of Interwood in Dubai, representing the brand at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to inform sales strategy.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on pipeline, sales performance, and market insights to senior management.

Key Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development/sales within furniture, interior fit‑out, construction, tiles, or related industries.
  • Network: Established relationships with architects, contractors, developers in Dubai/UAE.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of project-based B2B sales cycles, tender processes, and fit‑out industry requirements.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Mobility: Must have legal working status in UAE and be able to travel to Pakistan regularly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Languages: Proficiency in English; Arabic/Urdu/Hindi is a plus.
