Job Summary
Responsible for managing and growing the Production and Midstream Horizontal Pumping System (HPS) business revenue streams for Eastern Hemisphere by implementing growth strategies, setting sales goals and targets. The role will be measured on leads & opportunities developed, revenues generated and the profitability of the region against set targets.
It is expected that the role will be instrumental in generating and executing sustainable and long term strategies for growth in the region across the HPS product line. As an integral part of the Eastern Hemisphere sales team your ability to direct and guide the regional sales teams will be critical to the growth of the HPS product line.

Responsible of setting sales targets and achieving them and generate business growth year over year.
Product responsibility
Capital equipment – primarily focused and responsible for NOV Horizontal Pumping Systems (HPS)
- Developing sales strategies to support growth including local content plans and new path to market initiatives.
- Performing negotiations with clients, approving sales margins and payment terms, and reviewing contracts along with Legal team
- Managing and coaching area sales managers / teams and assigning goals / targets to contribute to overall target achievement.
- Advising higher management of new CAPEX needs and resource requirements to support business growth.
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting and market update reports and bridges
- Having deep understanding of customer sentiment and requirements, strong market intelligence and knowledge of upcoming activity
- Generating new leads, responsible of penetration of new markets / clients, and holding strong relationships with existing customers
- Technical advising to customers and regional sales teams regarding their production issues and recommending solutions within NOV product portfolio to optimize and enhance their production.
- Manage company channel partners and distributors with respect to HPS product line.
- Highlighting roadblocks to success including product R & D requirements and product range gaps and presenting company strengths and weakness against competitors
- Negotiating consignment stocks agreements with customers and advising inventory requirements in line with regional sales teams
- Representing the company in various conferences and exhibitions and demonstrating company expertise and capability
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / SKILL-SET REQUIRED
- 10 + years of experience in the oil and gas market working with operators, EPC’s and service companies.
- Prior working experience with an area or regional sales responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with Horizontal Pump Systems (HPS) and how they compare to API 610 and other surface pump products and applications.
- Proven pump successful sales record to oil and gas operators.
- Strong experience in understanding sales agreements and distributor contracts.
- Ability to travel regionally and globally more than half of the time.
- Demonstrate good Sales acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in CRM D365 sales platform.
