We are recruiting on behalf of our UAE-based client in the hard commodity sector, for the role of Business Development Manager – Latin America. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic international team and play a key role in expanding LNG and energy infrastructure business across high-potential markets.

Role Overview

We are seeking on behalf of our UAE – based client an experienced and well-connected Business Development Manager to lead commercial expansion across Latin America. The successful candidate will focus on LNG and energy infrastructure opportunities, engaging with government entities, IPPs, and industrial buyers. This role requires a strategic, relationship‑driven professional with deep regional expertise and a strong network in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential LNG buyers, regasification operators, IPPs and industrial offtakes in target regions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, state‑level meetings, and business forums.
  • Develop local market intelligence, monitor regulatory frameworks and LNG‑related developments.
  • Support preparation of marketing materials, pitch decks, and follow‑up communications.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in energy markets, preferably in LNG or natural gas.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales or government liaison.
  • Deep understanding of energy infrastructure and market entry strategy.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Local/regional market knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English, other languages add value to the professional profile.
Preferred
  • Prior experience in international energy trade or project development.
  • Existing network of contacts in the gas and LNG sector in the relevant region.
  • Master’s degree in business, Engineering, Energy, or related fields.
