Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition initiatives and drive revenue growth. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in B2B sales, relationship management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology solutions, possess deep market insights, and demonstrate exceptional ability to convert prospects into long-term strategic partners.
Reporting Structure

Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Client Acquisition (40%)
- Develop and execute comprehensive client acquisition strategies aligned with company revenue targets and growth objectives
- Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value prospects in target industries including FMCG, Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Real Estate, and Government sectors
- Lead complex sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets with deal sizes ranging from AED 50,000 to AED 500,000+
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline with minimum 3x coverage of quarterly targets
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends
2. Team Leadership & Development (25%)
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2 Business Development Executives and 1 Pre-Sales Executive
- Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for team members
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and coaching sessions
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice implementation across the team
- Coordinate with Pre-Sales Executive to ensure technical accuracy in proposals
- Maintain team productivity metrics with minimum 80% target achievement rate
3. Relationship Management (20%)
- Cultivate and maintain C-level relationships with key accounts and strategic partners
- Develop account penetration strategies for existing clients to maximize wallet share
- Ensure client satisfaction scores exceed 85% through regular engagement and feedback loops
- Manage escalations and resolve complex client issues in collaboration with delivery teams
- Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors and complementary service providers
4. Sales Operations & Process Optimization (15%)
- Maintain accurate CRM data with 100% pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and collateral
- Implement sales methodologies (MEDDIC/Challenger Sale) to improve conversion rates
- Generate weekly sales reports and market intelligence for leadership review
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue Achievement: 100% of quarterly targets (Individual + Team)
- Pipeline Generation: Minimum 3x quarterly target coverage
- Conversion Rate: 25% from qualified lead to closed deal
- Client Retention: 90% annual retention rate
- Team Performance: 80% of team achieving individual targets
- Activity Metrics: 15 client meetings/week, 50 qualified leads/month
Required Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven B2B sales experience in IT services, digital solutions, or software industry
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets exceeding AED 2–3 million annually
- Experience managing and developing sales teams with measurable results
- Strong understanding of web technologies, digital marketing, and enterprise solutions
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with C-level executives
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a significant advantage)
- Valid UAE driving license
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification
- Experience in UAE/GCC markets with established business networks
- Industry certifications (Google, Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and tender management
