As a Business Development Lead, you play a vital role in driving our expansion and growth within the region. Your primary responsibility is to identify and capitalize on business development opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and increase market share in the automobile car care sector. Your role demands a strong focus on market analysis, sales, client relationship management, and team leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to understand their financial needs and goals. Offer financial guidance and support to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Development of financial plans, budgets, and long-term financial strategies. Ensure alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
- Establish and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial performance of Autocare division. Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and manage pricing strategies that maximize profitability while staying competitive in the market.
- Ensure profitability by maintaining cost controls and negotiating favorable terms with customers and partners.

- Formulate and execute a robust business development strategy that outlines clear objectives and actionable plans for achieving them. This strategy may include sales targets, revenue goals, and timelines. Implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the automotive industry. Understanding their needs and ensuring that the company\'s products and services meet those requirements.
- Streamline the business development process, including lead generation, proposal management, and sales conversions.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities by identifying prospects, making compelling sales presentations, and crafting proposals to secure new clients. Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and CRM, to ensure a cohesive approach in delivering value to clients and fulfilling their needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create region-specific campaigns for brand visibility
- Promote the brand across local events, exhibitions, and UAE-specific platforms.
- Ensure that the sales and marketing processes are aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (operations, service teams) to ensure seamless service delivery experience for clients.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform business development decisions, assess performance, and optimizestrategies for greater effectiveness.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential growth areas and market trends within the car care sector.
- Research and benchmark against industry best practices and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement. Adapt and implement these practices within the organization.
- Regularly analyze and report on performance improvement efforts, highlighting achievements, areas for further enhancement, and the impact on the organization's bottom line.
- Conducts review meetings and provides an action plan to address areas of concern.
- Provide detailed monthly reports on business development activities, revenue performance, and market opportunities.
- Analyse revenue data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential growth areas and market trends within the multi-brand automobile service sector.
- Business Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to expand our presence in the region.
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with automotive dealerships, fleet operators, and other stakeholders to enhance service offerings and customer reach.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets by promoting our services to individual customers, commercial clients, and corporate accounts. Achieve revenue targets for car care operations. Drive revenue growth by increasing client acquisition, upselling services, and optimizing pricing strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry developments, pricing strategies, and emerging players within the automobile car care sector.
- Budget and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for the business development department, forecasting revenue, and tracking expenses.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience
- Bachelor and/or master's degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- 5 to 7 years in a related field/role, with business development experience.
- Proven track record in business development, ideally in the automotive service industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing new business and closing high-value deals, especially with B2B clients such as fleet operators and corporate accounts.
- Strong understanding of the multi-brand automobile service sector in the region.
- Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Arabic speaker preferred
