Job description
Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard new waste-generating industries (chemical, paint, oil & gas, automotive, marine, pharmaceutical, etc.).
  • Develop sourcing agreements for used oil, slop oil, chemical sludge, contaminated containers, and solvents.
  • Map industrial clusters, free zones, and ports for potential hazardous waste suppliers.
  • Liaise with EHS departments, facility managers, and sustainability officers to secure waste disposal contracts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and environmental officers.
  • Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and service agreements for waste collection and treatment.
  • Coordinate waste pickup, logistics scheduling, and documentation with the operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with MOCCAE, Dubai Municipality, Tadweer, and Sharjah Bee’ah regulations.
  • Maintain records of waste manifests, permits, and consignment notes.
  • Track waste generation trends, competitor activity, and pricing.
  • Prepare periodic reports on procurement volume, margin, and client status.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • 3–7 years’ experience in hazardous waste management, oil recycling, or industrial services sector.
  • Familiarity with UAE environmental regulations, MOCCAE permits, and eSupply / Tadweer portals.
  • Proven experience in waste sourcing / procurement / sales (especially oil waste, solvents, or industrial sludge).
  • Excellent networking and communication skills with ability to engage industry decision-makers.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
