Job description

Job Title: Business and Key Account Manager Middle East (location Dubai)

Location: UAE or remote

GREENIPATH leads the way in the sustainability movement, committed to lowering carbon emissions and fostering positive global transformation. The company enables businesses to navigate the complexity of environmental certifications and helps minimize carbon footprint, ultimately playing a role in creating a greener, more sustainable planet. Main products of the company are the following - carbon credits, REC (Renewable Energy Certificate), GO (Guarantee of Origin), I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate), REGO (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin), RGGOs (Renewable Gas Guarantees of Origin), Biomethane Certificates.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business and Key Account Manager Middle East (based in Dubai) to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of driving measurable and lasting environmental impact across the region.

In this position, you will be the driving force behind our commercial expansion in the Middle East — developing new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and serving as a trusted advisor to corporates and institutions navigating the complex landscape of carbon credits and Environmental Attribute Certificates (EACs).

Your expertise in sustainability and carbon markets, combined with your understanding of the regional energy transition landscape, regulatory frameworks (such as CORSIA, Article 6, and GCC decarbonization policies), will be key to establishing a strong foothold for our operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and across the wider MENA region.

You will actively identify and develop relationships with energy companies, industrial groups, and government‑linked entities, promoting tailored carbon and renewable energy solutions that align with national Net Zero ambitions and corporate ESG strategies.

Your passion for sustainability, strategic mindset, and strong sales acumen will be instrumental in expanding our client base, growing revenue, and building long‑term, trust‑based partnerships that support both climate and business goals.

Your Mission at GREENIPATH will include the following responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the Middle East, particularly within the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt. Build a qualified pipeline of corporate clients, government‑linked entities, and sustainability‑driven organizations.
  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with corporates, utilities, energy companies, and end‑buyers of environmental certificates. Ensure high client satisfaction and long‑term engagement.
  • Lead the complete sales process — from lead generation and negotiation to deal closure and contract management — ensuring compliance with regional regulations and internal governance standards.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of the Middle Eastern VCM and EAC landscape to deliver tailored insights and solutions. Advise clients on carbon credit strategies, renewable energy sourcing, and ESG compliance in line with regional initiatives such as Vision 2030 and Net Zero Roadmaps.
  • Work closely with trading, origination, and consulting teams to align client strategies with Greenipath’s broader portfolio and deliver integrated sustainability solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of regional go‑to‑market strategies, pricing models, and partnership frameworks to strengthen the company’s footprint across the Middle East.
  • Represent Greenipath at regional sustainability forums, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility and build new partnerships in the carbon and renewable energy markets.
  • Partner with the marketing and communications team to prepare localized proposals, presentations, and promotional content that reflect regional market dynamics and client needs.
  • Identify opportunities to promote complementary Greenipath services — such as consulting, project origination, and ESG reporting — within your client portfolio.

Your Greenprint for Success:

  • Demonstrated success in sales, key account management, or business development within the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM), Environmental Attribute Certificates (EACs), or related sustainability sectors — ideally across the GCC and broader MENA region.
  • In‑depth understanding of environmental certificates (e.g. Carbon Credits, RECs, I-RECs, Biomethane Certificates, GOs) and the commercial, regulatory, and cultural nuances of Middle Eastern markets.
  • Strong ability to develop, nurture, and expand long‑term partnerships with corporates, energy companies, financial institutions, and government‑linked entities — grounded in trust, credibility, and shared success.
  • Skilled in conducting high‑level negotiations and presentations with senior decision‑makers, often within cross‑cultural and multilingual environments. Able to articulate complex sustainability and carbon market concepts in a clear, business‑driven way.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑growing organization, capable of independently driving commercial outcomes while coordinating with international teams.
  • A results‑focused mindset, passionate about measurable success — both in terms of revenue growth and environmental impact. You combine commercial acumen with a genuine commitment to advancing sustainability and the low‑carbon transition in the region.

Reasons to Choose a Career at GREENIPATH:

  • You will have the empowerment and autonomy to take control of your work and make a significant impact.
  • You will thrive in a dynamic and innovative culture where your ideas and efforts are recognized and valued.
  • You will benefit from flexible work arrangements that support a motivating work‑life balance.
  • You will enjoy a competitive compensation and benefits package rewarding your achievements, hard work and dedication.
  • You will work in an international diversified team that is committed to integrity, sustainability, and social responsibility.
  • You will have opportunities to grow your skills and develop through challenging projects, tackling complex problems and contributing to innovative solutions that make a real difference.

If you’re ready to realize your potential and contribute to a greener future, we want to hear from you.
