Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to facilitate communication between technical IT partners and business stakeholders. The role involves project management, designing wireframes for insightful reports, and ensuring that new product developments meet client SLAs. Candidates should have experience in BI & Analytics projects, particularly in banking or finance. Excellent communication and planning skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business and technical requirements into documents.
• Manage stakeholders and mediate between Technical IT and Business partners.
• Plan project delivery timelines and ensure they are achieved.
• Design insightful screens and reports through wireframes.
• Manage escalations effectively.
• Test new developments/products as per SLA agreements.
• Prepare and retain necessary project documentation for audits.

Job description

• Responsible for gathering and translation of business and technical requirements into business requirement documents for the development team
• Responsible for stakeholder management, working as a mediator between Technical IT partner and Business partners.
• Responsible for project management, planning project delivery timelines and achieving it.
• Responsible to design Insightful screens and reports through wireframes.
• Responsible for managing escalations.
• Ensure testing of the new developments/ new products are planned and executed as per the SLA agreed with the client
• Prepare and retain project documentation like BRD, FSD, Project Plan, signoff emails etc. for audit requirement.

Skills

• Preference will be given to candidates who are having experience of working on BI & Analytics projects in a bank/BFSI or IT projects related to credit / risk / operations unit of the bank.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to deliver results under stringent timelines.
• Flexibility to work on areas other than area of expertise if situation demands.
• Good understanding of SDLC.
