Job summary

ISP is seeking a dedicated driver to support student transportation in Dubai, UAE, ensuring safety and reliability in daily routes. The role includes supervising pupils during commutes and adhering to safeguarding standards across all trips.

Applicants must follow traffic laws, perform vehicle inspections, and participate in regular safety briefings. The post requires commitment to a safe, well-organized transport service within the school community.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons
• Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends
• Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times
• Obey all traffic laws
• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
• Ensure safety of all students
• Discipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required
• Attend monthly safety meetings
• Ensure that your RTA approvals are up to date and carry them along on all trips
• In addition, all staff are required to carry out any tasks required by the school or the regional office to facilitate the smooth day to day running of the school
• To be line managed by the Facility Manager and Transport & housekeeping supervisor

Key duties for all Drivers include:

Hours of work- 8 hours from 5.30am-5.00pm (with appropriate break time) Monday to Thursday & 5.30am to 2pm on Fridays plus occasional evening and weekend work Holidays- 30 days per school year
