Job summary

GSS Tech Group in the UAE seeks a Brokerage Platform Lead to own and operate our enterprise trading platform through onboarding, order capture, execution, and settlement.

You will own connectivity to regional exchanges (DFM, ADX, Tadawul), work with trading, risk, compliance and ops teams to keep the system fast, compliant and resilient. This high ownership role demands deep front-to-back brokerage architecture, OMS and FIX expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years building trading or brokerage platforms.
• Experience with Tradenet or similar brokerage platforms.
• Strong front-to-back brokerage system architecture knowledge.
• Expertise with OMS and FIX protocol.
• Knowledge of market connectivity to DFM, ADX, Tadawul.
• Proficient in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience building RESTful services.
• Familiar with Agile tools: JIRA, Git, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of the brokerage platform from onboarding to settlement.

• Drive low-latency market connectivity to regional exchanges.

GSS Tech Group is hiring a Brokerage Platform Lead for one of our enterprise clients in the UAE capital markets sector.

In this role you will own the client's trading and brokerage platform across its full lifecycle, from client onboarding through order execution to settlement. You will be the main technical owner for market connectivity to regional exchanges including DFM, ADX and Tadawul, and you will work closely with trading, risk, compliance and operations teams to keep the platform fast, stable, compliant and continuously improving.

This is a high ownership position for someone who understands how an order moves front to back and has run a brokerage platform in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full lifecycle of the brokerage platform, covering onboarding, order capture, execution, clearing and settlement


• Work with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration with trading, risk and compliance systems


• Drive enhancements in market connectivity, ensuring low latency and highly reliable links to regional exchanges


• Lead platform upgrades, coordinate with vendors and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements


• Champion Agile practices and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning and release management


• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and resilience

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field


• Minimum 7 years of experience working on trading or brokerage platforms


• Proven exposure to Tradenet or a comparable brokerage platform


• Strong understanding of front to back brokerage system architecture


• Expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) and the FIX protocol


• Deep knowledge of market connectivity with exchanges such as DFM, ADX and Tadawul


• Solid grasp of institutional equities workflows, including algorithmic trading and both high touch and low touch order flows


• Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases


• Experience building and integrating RESTful services


• Agile delivery experience using JIRA, Git and CI/CD pipelines

Strong Advantage

• Familiarity with Kafka for real time data streaming and event driven architecture


• Hands on development experience in Java and/or C++, with exposure to Node.js and React
