Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Bridges and Tunnels team. You will contribute to designing and delivering innovative transportation infrastructure across the region, working with seasoned professionals and global experts.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years of bridges and tunnels experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong English communication and a willingness to work on-site are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in bridges and tunnels design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related bridge design tools.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge, bridge and tunnel design standards, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out discipline designs to required standards and quality.
• Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process.
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
• Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
• Ensure Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
• Input into the work of the Technical Working Group (TWG).
