Job summary

AECOM Corporation in Abu Dhabi seeks a Land Surveyor focused on bridges and tunnels to support construction supervision. The role emphasizes surveying, setting-out, and verification across bridge and tunnel works, coordinating with engineers and contractors to ensure accuracy of coordinates, elevations, and alignments.

Candidate must have strong experience with Total Stations, GNSS/GPS, Auto Levels, AutoCAD, and related surveying software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant surveying experience on bridge, tunnel, and major infrastructure projects.
• Strong practical experience in construction setting-out.
• Experience surveying structural works, earthworks, and related infrastructure.
• Familiarity with bridge/tunnel construction surveying requirements.
• Experience preparing as-built surveys and technical survey reports.
• Ability to review contractor survey data and verify construction dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveying and setting-out activities for bridge construction works.
• Establish and verify coordinates, reference levels, and structural alignments.
• Conduct surveys for bridge foundations, piling, and pile caps.
• Verify positioning of abutments, piers, retaining walls, and bridge decks.
• Check dimensions, elevations, and alignments against drawings.
• Identify discrepancies in setting-out information and resolve them.
• Support construction verification throughout bridge development.
