Job summary

Abroad Work in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mason to join our team. You will prepare surfaces, lay bricks, blocks, stone and other masonry materials to construct or repair walls and structures on site.

Responsibilities include measuring, marking, cutting and laying bricks, ensuring alignment, and integrating vents/doors. The role requires reading drawings and maintaining fitness for long shifts. Salary offered is 1,400 AED per month.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail when measuring surfaces and laying out patterns.
• Physically fit with stamina for long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surface by cleaning it and removing debris
• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out patterns
• Cut bricks or other masonry materials using saws, chisels or power cutters
• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone or other masonry materials to construct walls or structures
• Work with reinforcing steel rods into walls during construction
• Check vertical and horizontal alignment of brickwork
• Install vents, doors, windows and other components into brickwork
• Repair damaged walls with new material as needed
