Brand Manager – Private Brand | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE

Role Summary

The Brand Manager – Private Brand is responsible for developing, managing, and growing the MAF Retail own brands portfolio. This role focuses on developing and executing brand identities, brand strategies, and communications to enhance the visibility, equity, and perceived value of the private brands of MAF Retail. The role ensures private brand management is aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.

Role Profile
  • Define and implement the brand strategy for assigned private label ranges, ensuring clear positioning, purpose, and differentiation.
  • Manage the brand architecture, design direction, and communication guidelines to ensure consistent brand identity across packaging and marketing materials.
  • Conduct brand performance reviews using market, shopper, and consumer insights to inform decisions.
  • Lead packaging development as a key brand-building element in collaboration with design agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Create detailed packaging briefs covering concept, design intent, key claims, and sustainability targets.
  • Plan and execute 360° brand activation campaigns, including in-store, digital, CRM, and social media activities.
  • Work with Creative, Trade Marketing, and Retail Operations to deliver impactful launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Lead packaging refresh or redesign projects in response to evolving consumer expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, or Design-related.
  • 5+ years of experience with packaging artwork development and retail experience.
  • Strong brand and visual identity understanding.
  • Deep knowledge of packaging design processes, print production, and regulatory labeling.Skilled in agency briefing, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong creative sense paired with analytical decision-making.
