Job description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Brain Injury Medicine Specialist/Consultant to join our team.

As a Brain Injury Medicine Specialist/Consultant, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing patients with brain injuries and providing comprehensive care to facilitate their recovery and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, anoxic brain injuries, and other neurologic disorders.

You will develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and holistic care.

Your expertise in brain injury medicine and your dedication to helping patients regain their function and independence will be central to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, anoxic brain injuries, and other neurologic disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that include medical, rehabilitative, and supportive interventions
  • Prescribe and manage medications and therapies specific to brain injury medicine
  • Monitor and assess the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans accordingly
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Provide patient and family education on brain injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in brain injury medicine
Requirements
  • Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Brain Injury Medicine Specialist/Consultant
  • Completion of a recognized residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Neurology Board certification or eligibility in Brain Injury Medicine
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and managing patients with acquired brain injuries
  • Strong knowledge of evidence‑based practices and treatment modalities in brain injury medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Empathy, compassion, and patient‑centered approach to care
  • Detail‑oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases
