Job summary

A leading oil trading company in Dubai is seeking an individual to manage bookings and invoicing for the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of ETRM systems like TPT and SAP. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role, which supports operators and ensures the accuracy of invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bookings and invoicing for the Operations Team.
  • Process purchase and service providers’ invoices as instructed.
  • Issue invoices and follow up on payment confirmation.
  • Investigate and correct TPT entry values.
  • Provide support for settlements and manage cargo documents.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Manage the bookings and invoicing of Operations Team.

MAIN TASKS
  • Processing of the purchase and service providers’ invoices as per operators’ instructions
  • Issuing invoices as per operators’ instructions and follow up of payment confirmation
  • TPT entry: investigate and correct in case wrong values entered
  • Read / question reports and investigate invoicing issues
  • Chasing for unpaid invoices
  • Providing all the necessary support and assistance to the Operators on settlements
  • Manage original cargo documents from courier reception, endorsement, and dispatch
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Education, certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Previous experiences:

  • Basic knowledge of oil market
  • Basic knowledge of Energy physical deals
  • Good understanding of oil market pricing
  • Good knowledge of invoicing
  • Good understanding of one or more of the common ETRM systems in the oil trading business: TPT, SAP, Dynamics
