Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs is seeking an experienced Boat Driver for private yachts in Abu Dhabi. You will operate and navigate vessels, dock and anchor, and ensure safe, comfortable journeys for guests.

The role requires proven boat-handling skills, UAE-recognized certification, and practical experience on private ships. You will perform routine checks, maintain safety, report issues promptly, and keep the vessel clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Valid boat-driving/marine license or certification.
• Relevant marine safety certification is an advantage.
• UAE-recognized certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate private ships safely and efficiently.
• Handle docking, anchoring, and routine vessel maneuvers.
• Ensure vessel is maintained in safe working condition.
• Perform basic checks of engine, fuel, equipment and safety systems.
• Follow safety procedures and UAE maritime regulations.
• Assist with basic maintenance and report technical issues promptly.
• Ensure safety and comfort of passengers on board.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the boat.

Job description

Operate and navigate the private ship boat safely and efficiently

Handle daily boat operations including starting docking anchoring and maneuvering

Ensure the boat is maintained in safe and proper working condition

Conduct basic checks of the engine fuel equipment and safety systems

Follow all safety procedures and applicable maritime regulations

Assist with basic maintenance and report any technical issues promptly

Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers guests on board

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the boat

Minimum high school education or equivalent.

Valid boat-driving/marine license or certification appropriate for the type and size of vessel, as applicable.

Relevant marine safety or boating certification will be an advantage.

Must have the necessary certification recognized for operating the vessel in the relevant UAE waters.

Relevant practical boat-driving experience is mandatory.

Previous experience as a Boat Driver / Boat Captain / Marine Driver is required.

Experience with private ships, yachts, luxury boats, or similar vessels is preferred.

Experience in handling docking, anchoring, navigation, and basic vessel operations.
