Job description

As aBMS Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and retrofit projects for Building Management Systems (BMS) across commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors. Based in Abu Dhabi, you’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on comfort, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, Aftermarket Controls Segment.

How you will do it

Implement and maintain BMS solutions using the latest technologies and control philosophies.

Program and commission Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers and field devices including sensors, differential pressure transmitters (DPTs), and valve actuators.

Install and configure BMS hardware and software components.

Conduct system operation training for end users and prepare comprehensive handover documentation.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and best practices.

What we look for

Required

3 Years Diploma in Electrical / Electronic engineering or equivalent.

At least 4 years of experience in BMS or HVAC system installation, commissioning, and servicing.

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.

Experience handling emergency breakdowns and service calls.

Skilled in preparing and managing Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules and reports.

Proficient in creating regular Planned Preventive Maintenance reports, schedules and ensure all the PPMs have been completed as per schedule and contract terms.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to work in shifts.

Preferred

Experience with Johnson Controls systems (e.g., Metasys).

Knowledge of Maintenance Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software.

Knowledge of programming languages like CCT (Control Commissioning Tool) and FBD (Function Block Diagram).

Background in facility management operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Mainspring software.
