Job Title: BMS Operator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive BMS (Building Management System) Operator to monitor, manage and maintain the building's automated systems to ensure optimal operation, safety and energy efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMS software, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and a strong focus on maintaining building performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all building systems through the BMS to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and adjustments on HVAC, lighting, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms, system alerts and operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain logs, reports and system documentation for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to carry out repairs and upgrades on building systems.
- Ensure energy-efficient operations by analysing system data and recommending optimization strategies.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Support facility management in planning system upgrades, modifications and integration of new technologies.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Electronics Mechanical or related field.
- Certification or training in BMS operations is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls and mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with BMS software (e.g. Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Johnson Controls).
Skills Required
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and automation.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in monitoring and managing BMS software platforms.
- Attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to system alarms.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with engineering and maintenance teams.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
