About the role

We are seeking a detailoriented and highly organized Finance Assistant to support our finance department with daytoday financial tasks. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations including processing transactions maintaining financial records and assisting with reporting and budgeting activities

Responsibilities
  • Manage all accounting transactions payable receivables manual journal entries
  • Ensure timely bank payments handle all cash related reconciliation bank credit card P card etc.
  • Participate in financial standards setting and forecast process
  • Publish financial statements in time balance sheets and profit / loss statements
  • Assist with the monthly quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Follow up with the clients on the collection
  • Assist with the computation of the taxes where applicable and prepare tax returns
  • Assist with the internal and external audit of the financial transactions and documents
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
Candidate Requirements
  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS)
  • Handson experience with accounting software like Xeros Zoho
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • BSc in Accounting Finance or relevant degree
Soft Skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Location & Commitments

Fulltime Contracted.

Work 5 days a week (exibility on days according to project needs) 9 hours a day including a 1hour lunch break
