Job summary

Sener is seeking a BIM Technician with a minimum of five years of BIM experience and mandatory Rail & Metro project exposure to join our Riyadh-based team. Candidates must be Saudi nationals with strong BIM modeling, Revit proficiency, and coordination abilities to support multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities include creating and updating 3D BIM models, producing technical drawings, coordinating across disciplines, and maintaining documentation throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years BIM experience in a professional setting.
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Rail & Metro project experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM modeling.

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models using Revit and BIM software per project standards.
• Produce plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from BIM models.
• Coordinate BIM with engineers and multidisciplinary teams for model accuracy and integration.
• Update models based on reviews, comments, and client feedback.
• Perform model checks and support clash detection and coordination issues.
• Maintain BIM revisions, drawing registers, and project documentation.
• Prepare BIM deliverables, model views, and presentations.
• Utilize Civil 3D and GIS tools to support infrastructure modeling.

At Sener, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative infrastructure projects. We are looking for a BIM Technician with a minimum of 5 years of BIM experience and mandatory Rail & Metro project experience to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Candidates from any engineering or technical background are welcome. Applicants must be Saudi Nationals with strong BIM modeling and coordination skills, proficiency in Autodesk Revit, and experience supporting multidisciplinary Rail & Metro projects.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
2. Produce plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and engineering documentation from BIM models.
3. Coordinate BIM models with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy, consistency, and integration across disciplines.
4. Update models and associated deliverables based on engineering comments, design reviews, coordination meetings, and client feedback.
5. Perform model checks and support clash detection, identification of model inconsistencies, and resolution of coordination issues.
6. Maintain BIM model revisions, drawing registers, and associated documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Support the preparation of BIM deliverables, model views, presentations, and project documentation.
8. Use relevant digital engineering tools, including Civil 3D and GIS where required, to support infrastructure modeling and spatial coordination.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any engineering or relevant technical discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of BIM experience as a BIM Technician, BIM Modeler, or in a similar BIM modeling role.
3. Saudi Nationality is mandatory.
4. Rail & Metro project experience is mandatory.
5. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience developing and maintaining 3D BIM models and producing model-based drawings, plans, sections, details, schedules, and engineering documentation.
6. Strong understanding of BIM standards, modeling practices, multidisciplinary coordination, and clash detection, with experience coordinating models across engineering disciplines.
7. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working with international engineering consultancies.
2. Experience supporting major rail infrastructure or transportation projects.
3. Familiarity with GCC engineering standards and project requirements.
4. Experience with Navisworks, model coordination, and clash detection.
5. Knowledge of Civil 3D, GIS, and digital engineering workflows.
