Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler Electrical in Dubai to deliver electrical BIM models and lead a team on urgent projects. You will support BIM development, mentor juniors, and ensure clashes are resolved across MEP disciplines.

The role requires 8+ years of BIM electrical modelling experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ACC, and proven exposure to Middle East projects. Immediate start preferred, full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM electrical modelling.
• Proven experience in Middle East region projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regional standards and BIM workflows.
• Experience with collaboration and CDE platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate electrical BIM models using Revit and related software.
• 2D Drafting of Schematics & Single-Line Diagrams
• Able to generate drawings from BIM models
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs
• Perform interdisciplinary and interface design coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and ACC
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts including power, lighting, cable routing and containment systems
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, project specs and quality standards
• Support design teams with timely model updates and technical clarifications
• Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparations and coordination drawings
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and BIM standards
• Supporting the BIM manager in the delivery of digital outputs within project teams and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams
• Support with development of a content library suitable for the MEP team

Job description

EGIS is seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler Electrical with a strong modelling more specifically parametric model to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. This position will be expected to deliver BIM models and manage a team assist with BIM development efforts in the company and help junior team members to enhance their skills. Please note that the position needs to be filled on immediate bases dur to project urgency.
