Job summary

Egis Dubai is seeking a talented BIM Designer specializing in Ports and Marine Structures to join our growing team in Dubai. You will create comprehensive Building Information Models for complex port and marine infrastructure projects.

The role requires advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, plus experience with 3D modeling, clash detection, and producing 2D drawings from BIM models for construction teams. Strong coordination and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of coastal and marine structures is required.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models and resolving clashes.
• Ability to develop 3D BIM models (LOD 200–400) for port facilities and marine works.
• Proficient in producing 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for port facilities and marine structures.
• Prepare accurate 3D BIM models (LOD 200–400) for marine and structural works.
• Draft 2D drawings, plans, sections, and schedules from BIM models.
• Generate material take-offs and quantity calculations from BIM data.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and manage model standards.
