Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or early childhood education, or Arabic Language, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated record of strong attendance, punctuality, and professional commitment in previous academic or work settings.
• Minimum of 1 year experience or completion of a relevant teaching internship / training in an early years environment.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 (or equivalent) in relevant undergraduate studies.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate pedagogies.
• Creative, energetic, and caring disposition with a genuine passion for teaching young children.
• Ability to work productively as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Arabic instruction using Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), integrated with EYFS or equivalent curriculum.
• Foster a love for the Arabic language through songs, storytelling, games, and hands-on activities.
• Support children’s holistic development – cognitive, emotional, physical, and social – through age-appropriate strategies.
• Work effectively with children during focus group activities, adapting to individual developmental levels.
• Collaborate with English-speaking teachers to ensure a bilingual, immersive classroom experience.
• Plan, assess, and document children’s learning using clear outcomes and observations.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Participate in school life including events and extracurricular activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development and reflective teaching.
