Job summary

UNDP invites applications for a Communications Intern based in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on developing, scheduling, and publishing bilingual English and Arabic content; assisting in multimedia asset production; managing social media platforms; monitoring channels; and supporting CMS tasks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a postgraduate degree in media studies, journalism, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
• Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Recently graduated (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher) in media studies, journalism, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field and must start the internship within one year of graduation.
• Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme in media studies, journalism, communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field where the internship is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to preparation of editorial and content calendars for the portal and related social platforms, and web content production.
• Assist with preparation and dissemination of the Knowledge Project newsletter.
• Support development, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube).
• Draft engaging English and Arabic social media copy and produce multimedia content to support digital campaigns and live coverage.
• Upload, publish, and update content on the Knowledge4All portal and mobile app via the CMS.

Education

Postgraduate degree in media studies, journalism, communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
