Role Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded BI & Data Engineer who can combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen.

You will work across multiple departments to consolidate data, establish reporting frameworks, build scalable infrastructure, and deliver forward‑looking insights that influence revenue, customer growth, marketing effectiveness, and operational performance.

This is not purely an engineering role. We are looking for someone senior enough to lead the organization’s BI and data agenda while remaining hands‑on with architecture, pipelines, reporting, and analytics.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the organization’s BI and data strategy, ensuring data supports business growth and decision‑making.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Consolidate data from marketing, CRM, finance, operations, customer, product, and performance marketing platforms into a unified data environment.
• Build and optimize data warehouses, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop executive dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support leadership decision‑making.
• Partner with commercial, strategy, marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to identify business opportunities through data.
• Deliver forward‑looking analytics, forecasting models, and predictive insights.
• Support performance marketing teams through attribution analysis, funnel reporting, customer acquisition insights, ROAS analysis, SKAN reporting, and media performance measurement.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, retention, campaign ROI, and operational efficiency.
• Champion data governance, quality standards, and reporting consistency across the organization.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
• 7–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Commercial Analytics roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SQL and data modelling.
• Experience building and maintaining modern data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, AWS, or Azure.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of customer analytics, commercial performance, and business KPIs.
• Experience supporting performance marketing analytics, attribution, ROAS, CAC, LTV, SKAN, and digital funnel measurement.
• Ability to deliver both descriptive and predictive analytics.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities through data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with executive leadership and presenting business insights.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
