Job summary

A luxury fashion atelier is looking for a highly skilled Tailor to work on both womenswear and menswear, including couture and ready-to-wear garments. The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of experience, with mastery in hand and machine sewing, including techniques such as embroidery and appliqué. Responsibilities include constructing garments to high standards, supporting fittings, and maintaining atelier operations. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in a luxury or designer atelier.
• Mastery of hand and machine sewing, couture finishing, and refined detailing.

House of Narma is seeking a highly skilled Tailor with expertise across luxury womenswear and menswear, spanning couture and ready-to-wear. The ideal candidate combines precision craftsmanship, adaptability, and a deep respect for the art of garment making.

Responsibilities

• Construct and finish garments to luxury atelier standards, across both structured and fluid silhouettes.
• Execute couture and bespoke tailoring, including internal structuring, shaping, and fine hand-finishing.
• Confidently handle and assemble garments with surface techniques and embroidery, ensuring stability and seamless integration into construction.
• Work with a wide range of fabrics — silk, wool, crepe, lace, organza, and embellished textiles — maintaining absolute precision and control.
• Support fittings, alterations, and finishing processes in collaboration with pattern makers and designers.
• Assist with day-to-day atelier operations, from sample preparation and pressing to quality checks, organization, and maintaining studio readiness.
• Uphold exacting standards of craftsmanship, presentation, and professionalism across all projects.
