JOB PURPOSE

The PR Intern will support the Public Relations team in promoting Shiseido Group’s skincare and fragrance brands across the Middle East. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations, media relations, and brand communication within a dynamic and innovative environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns for skincare and fragrance brands.
• Manage all seedings for the brands including the creation of the dispatch list as well as the organization of the send outs.
• Maintain and update master media and influencer info and contact lists.
• Monitor media and influencer coverage and compile reports on brand visibility and sentiment using our set of KPI’s metrics.
• Help manage relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders in the beauty industry.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating PR events, product launches, and media briefings.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform PR strategies.
• Support the team in daily administrative tasks and project management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and social media, to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Passion for the beauty industry, particularly skincare and fragrance.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design skills are a plus.
• Previous internship or experience in PR, marketing, or communications is an advantage but not required.
