Job summary

Client of AIQU in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced BCM and Disaster Recovery specialist to lead the development and maintenance of DR strategy policies for ERP, CRM, and integration platforms. You will drive hands-on DR planning, testing, and validation, and coordinate regular exercises with IT teams and external vendors to align recovery objectives.

• 10–12 years in business continuity management and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on DR planning/testing for ERP, CRM, and integration layers.
• Experience in UAE or GCC business environment.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Lead hands-on DR planning testing and validation for ERP CRM and integration platforms
• Coordinate and execute regular DR exercises simulations and failover tests
• Collaborate with IT business units and external vendors to align recovery objectives
• Document and update disaster recovery plans runbooks and procedures
• Conduct business impact analyses BIA and risk assessments to inform recovery priorities
• Monitor compliance with local regulations industry standards and corporate policies
• Report BCM metrics test results and improvement plans to senior management
• Provide training and awareness workshops on BCM and DR processes
• Manage incident response coordination during actual disruptions

Required Qualifications

• 10 12 years of experience in business continuity management and disaster recovery planning
• Hands-on expertise in DR planning and testing for ERP CRM and integration layers
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud AWS Azure and on-premise infrastructure
• Experience conducting BIAs risk assessments and impact analyses
• Proficiency with disaster recovery technologies replication backup failover
• Excellent leadership stakeholder management project management and communication skills
• Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or related field
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC business environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or MBCI certification
• ITIL Foundation or higher
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification
• Experience in financial services oil amp gas or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with DR orchestration tools e g Zerto VMware SRM
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Arabic language proficiency
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management practices
