Job summary

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is a luxury hotel delivering Turkish hospitality with exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled Bartender to prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards, delivering personalized, high-quality service to guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in bartending, excellent English, strong presentation, and a team-oriented, professional demeanor. You will maintain bar stock, assist in training new staff, and help ensure a spotless, welcoming bar

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-years of service as Bartender.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Team player with a creative and outgoing personality.
• Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills.
• Good Food & Beverage product knowledge.
• A good knowledge of beverage service styles and techniques, beverage preparation and specialized beverage orders of service is required.
• A good knowledge of all hard liquor, wines, mixes/cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards, maintaining thorough knowledge of all bar products and cocktail recipes.
• Provide personalised, high-quality service with efficient and friendly customer interactions, including upselling opportunities.
• Prepare mise-en-place, garnishes, and perform all side duties to ensure the bar is fully stocked and ready for service.
• Maintain the bar counter and surrounding area in a clean, organised, and professional condition at all times.
• Adhere strictly to opening and closing procedures, monitor beverage stock levels, and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Ensure proper presentation and display of premium liquors on shelves with defined quantities maintained.
• Handle guest enquiries courteously and establish positive customer relationships.
• Perform cashiering functions and ensure strict adherence to outlet cashiering procedures.
• Coach and train new recruits through on-the-job training, assisting in the development of employee skills and efficiency.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory of operating equipment and supplies.
