Job description

To provide an exceptional customer experience in a professional and efficient manner to all guests.

Functional Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed expectations.
  2. Take and process customers' orders accurately and promptly.
  3. Follow the sequence of service standards as per brand guidelines.
  4. Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items to describe and recommend products to customers. Maintain an interest and in-depth knowledge of coffee and its preparation.

Preparation and Quality Standards

  1. Prepare beverages according to set standards and recipes.
  2. Ensure food and beverage quality and consistency are maintained at all times, adhering to brand guidelines and company standards.

Stock and Hygiene Management

  1. Maintain optimum stock levels to ensure smooth operations and cater to customer demand.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, monitoring regularly through audits and quality checks as per operational requirements.

Operational Compliance

  1. Work within operational procedures to ensure food and beverage preparation processes comply with company and municipality guidelines.

Administrative Responsibilities

  1. Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely, including customer database management.
  2. Handle cash or authorized payment modes from customers, issue receipts, and reconcile receipts with sales figures.
  3. Carry out additional tasks as instructed by management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Business Effectiveness / Productivity: Adherence to work and operating standards (e.g., hygiene, cleanliness, discipline), timely completion of tasks, and achievement of targets.
  2. Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction and positive experience.
