Functional Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed expectations.
- Take and process customers' orders accurately and promptly.
- Follow the sequence of service standards as per brand guidelines.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items to describe and recommend products to customers. Maintain an interest and in-depth knowledge of coffee and its preparation.
Preparation and Quality Standards
- Prepare beverages according to set standards and recipes.
- Ensure food and beverage quality and consistency are maintained at all times, adhering to brand guidelines and company standards.
Stock and Hygiene Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels to ensure smooth operations and cater to customer demand.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, monitoring regularly through audits and quality checks as per operational requirements.
Operational Compliance
- Work within operational procedures to ensure food and beverage preparation processes comply with company and municipality guidelines.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and timely, including customer database management.
- Handle cash or authorized payment modes from customers, issue receipts, and reconcile receipts with sales figures.
- Carry out additional tasks as instructed by management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Business Effectiveness / Productivity: Adherence to work and operating standards (e.g., hygiene, cleanliness, discipline), timely completion of tasks, and achievement of targets.
- Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction and positive experience.
Education
- Certification in Food and Beverage / Catering is an advantage.
