Job summary

The Team Builders are assisting an upscale restaurant in Dubai to hire an experienced Barista. You will manage daily coffee station, ensure mise en place, and serve beverages with attention to quality and presentation.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of barista experience, knowledge of cold drinks and mocktails, ability to prepare cocktails, and a warm, calm demeanor under pressure. A curious, open-minded attitude and passion for food and beverage are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years previous experience as a barista.
• Awareness of basics for cold drinks and mocktails preparation.
• Preparation of alcoholic cocktails.
• Warm and inviting personality.
• Ability to think calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up daily bar counter and ensure mise en place and ingredients/equipment are prepared to work efficiently.
• Ensure all beverages (coffee/tea) are in good order and served correctly.
• Check inventory daily before each shift to ensure stock levels.
• Assist in carrying out monthly inventories.
• Ensure correct date labeling for all related products.
• Anticipate guests' needs by proactive service behavior.
• Maintain and manage bar equipment to prevent breakdowns.

Our client is an upscale restaurant in Dubai currently hiring an experienced Barista.

What will you do

• Set up daily bar counter and ensure that mise en place and any other required ingredients and equipment are prepared in order to work as efficiently as possible
• Ensure that all beverages such as coffee teas are in good order to be served
  
• Check the inventory daily before each shift to assure correct amounts are stocked up to avoid running out of stock during service periods
  
• Assist in carrying out monthly inventories
  
• Assure that correct date labeling is always in place for all related products
• Anticipates guests needs by following service behavior
• Ensuring the equipment is taken care of and managed in a proper manner to avoid any breakdowns
