Job summary

Ecojob in Dubai is seeking an experienced Barber to provide high-quality hair cutting, styling and grooming services for a diverse clientele. You will greet clients, discuss styles, and perform clipper, scissor, and razor cuts with attention to cleanliness and safety.

The role requires knowledge of styling products and tools, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening flexibility is preferred; salary is competitive with commissions on services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barber in a salon or barber shop setting.
• Excellent knowledge of hair cutting techniques for different types of hair.
• Familiarity with various styling products and tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to clients' needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Indian or Egyptian nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and discuss their desired hairstyles
• Provide suggestions and recommendations based on clients' hair type and preferences
• Perform various hair cutting techniques such as clipper cuts, scissor cuts, and razor cuts
• Style hair using various tools and products including blow dryers, flat irons, and gels
• Offer beard trims, shaves, and other grooming services
• Ensure cleanliness of work station and sanitize tools after each use
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude towards clients at all times
